We are so excited to partner with Pet Valu Main St and the FSPCA, and Pet Valu Two Nations and Saving Paws for the month of June Fundraising with PAW. Drop be either store and make a donation today and we will all be very grateful to you. All of us are in full swing with kittens and adults coming to each of us for their second chance at a good life.

Save the date!!!

Mark your calendars for June 13th (June 20th rain date) for a wonderful yard sale and baked goods fundraiser! This event will be part of the Douglas Community Yard Sale so there will be plenty of great treasures to find - gather your best bargain hunting buddies and make a day of it!

CARMA Fredericton's sale will be located at 49 Island View Drive (off the Carlisle Rd, Fredericton North).

All funds raised will go towards the cats - new to you treasures (and baked goods) all while supporting a good cause? Talk about a win-win!

Please meet our Cat of the day:

Pooky was born outside to a feral mom in August 2024 and was trapped and brought to Carma by the nice people feeding her and her family.

Pooky is very calm and gentle! She is always around her foster mom’s feet with her sister Arlene to get belly rubs. She even lets her foster mom pick her up and carrying her around and readily accepts kisses on her face.

She gets excited for wet food and treats! Pooky needs a home with another cat that will want to play and cuddle with her.

Please consider adopting Pooky into your loving home. If you can’t adopt her, please share her story and help her find her forever home.

Please meet our Cats of the Day:

Meet Duncan and Hanna!

They were living outside with access to food and water in the porch of their caregivers home. Their caregiver passed away and the property was being sold so we were called for help. They were trapped and brought into the foster program and we soon realized these two are the most gentle and kind cats. We believe Hanna might be Duncan’s mom as they look alike and we believe she is older than him but they both are senior cats.

He obviously lost an eye at some point and the caregiver had them neutered/spayed.

They are looking for a home together where they can live the life of luxury inside without the worries of any threats from the outside and lots of their favourite were food and treats!

They both perk up and start purring when you talk to them and although they are cautious at first they love pets and attention.

They are bonded and need a home together!

Please meet our Cat of the day:

Greta was living outside struggling to survive when she wandered onto the right property, a property owner who cared enough to feed her and contact Carma for help.

Even though she was nervous she was so happy to be rescued that she purred in the first five minutes of being shown some love from our intake volunteer.

She even rolled over for some belly rubs which was perfect as we always check for signs that a female is pregnant or has recently had kittens!

Don’t let her grumpy cat face deter you because that frown turns to a smile as soon as you pet her.

She is estimated to be 2-3 years old in spring of 2026.

She can be shy at first, but she will melt into you hand when give her pets and scritches.

She easily gets along with other cats.

Greta would do best in a home with children 6 years and older.

Greta loves wet food and treats!
