Habitat for Humanity New Brunswick is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Project Coordinator to support our Construction Director and broader team in the coordination of build projects, home repairs, administrative systems, and volunteer activities.

Please Note: This position is provincially focused. We are accepting applications from candidates in Moncton, Fredericton, and Saint John.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing office-based coordination and administrative work with occasional in-person site support. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping projects organized, supporting communication with homeowners and contractors, and helping ensure our builds and repair programs operate smoothly and efficiently.

Following a satisfactory probationary period, this employee will be offered a salaried position with regular wage reviews. They will also be entitled to fully paid health and dental benefits, and life insurance. They will be entitled to LTD benefits. And all full-time Habitat NB employees have the option to enroll in an RRSP matching program after one year of employment. And then, of course, you'll be working with a phenomenal team and having great working hours!

This terrific team spent their day priming throughout the duplex - and did an incredible job! We are so thankful for their helping hands and excitement to assist. 🏡

Another Stantec Shout Out! 🙂
We are sending a HUGE "Thank You!" out to this amazing team from Stantec for kindly volunteering their Thursday to be on our Saint John build site!

As part of "Stantec in the Community Week", this dedicated group rolled up their sleeves and helped tackle drywall work throughout our home on Millidge Avenue. Their hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to lend a hand made a real difference in moving this project one step closer to the day a family can call it home.

Stantec has supported Habitat for Humanity in Canada since 2008, with a strong focus on employee engagement. For the past two years, Stantec employees have volunteered on Habitat builds around the world during one week in June known as "Stantec in the Community Week." Here in New Brunswick, this marks the second year that Stantec has generously supported our home builds, with teams volunteering in both Fredericton and Saint John this year.

We are incredibly grateful for Stantec's ongoing partnership and commitment to strengthening communities. Together, we can build safe, affordable housing and brighter futures for families across New Brunswick. ❤️

SHOUT OUT! ❤️
We send a HUGE "Thank You!" out to this incredible team from Stantec!

This great group very kindly spent this extremely warm Tuesday assisting at our DeMerchant Drive homes in Fredericton - and did an incredible job! They raked, levelled, cleared rocks, etc., to get the lawns of four of our homes ready for landscaping.

Stantec has supported Habitat for Humanity in Canada since 2008. Stantec’s primary focus in supporting Habitat is employee engagement. For the past two years, Stantec employees have volunteered on Habitat builds in countries around the world for one week in June known as “Stantec in the Community Week”. Here in NB, this is the second year that Stantec has kindly rolled up their sleeves to assist on our home builds - and they're also volunteering in Saint John a little later this week!

We are so thankful for the ongoing support of Stantec. Together, we can build a better future for families in need of safe, affordable housing. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who participated in the contest in support of this year! This is an annual national writing contest that brings together students from across the country to share poems and stories about what home means to them.

Throughout NB, a total of 496 entries were received this year, which amounted to $4,960 in donations that will go towards building more homes in our province. And we are very excited to share that one of those submissions was a runner-up winner!

This year, Grade 5 runner-up, Amarachi, from Fredericton, was recognized for her submission, Where My Heart Feels Safe - https://www.meaningofhome.ca/entries/101240

Amarachi’s entry earned a $10,000 grant in support of Habitat NB, helping more local families access safe, decent, and affordable housing. You can find all of the 2026 winning submissions here: https://www.meaningofhome.ca/page/winners2026

Amarachi also earned a pizza party for her class and an i-Pad! Our Habitat NB team, along with representatives from some of the amazing contest sponsors, had the absolute pleasure of joining Amarachi and her class today for the pizza party.

Thank you to the many teachers and parents who inspired your students to make a difference in their community this year. Through this amazing contest, with just paper and a pen, these talented students can have a life changing impact on families in need of safe, affordable housing.

SHOUT OUT! 🏠💙
We send a HUGE "Thank You!" out to our friends at Mortgage Professionals Canada (MPC) for joining us yesterday at our Millidge Avenue build site in Saint John!

This marks the second year that the MPC team has volunteered on a Habitat NB home build, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support. These hard-working volunteers rolled up their sleeves and did an outstanding job helping install sheetrock throughout the home, making a significant contribution to the progress of this build.

Partnerships like this help us build more than just houses—they help us build strength, stability, and hope for local families. Thank you, MPC, for your ongoing commitment to Habitat for Humanity and for making a real difference in the lives of families throughout our province.
