Today marks the beginning of Pride Month.

At CRMHAA, we recognize that mental health is shaped not only by individual experiences, but also by how safe, welcomed, and valued people feel in their communities. For many 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, experiences of stigma, discrimination, rejection, and exclusion can have a significant impact on mental wellness.

Pride is a celebration of identity, resilience, community, and belonging. It is also a reminder of the importance of creating spaces where people can show up as themselves without fear of judgment.

This month, and throughout the year, we remain committed to fostering inclusive, supportive environments where everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

Happy Pride Month. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

May 5 – Red Dress Day

Today we recognize Red Dress Day, honouring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People.

Each red dress represents lives that should still be here, and families and communities who continue to carry grief and loss.

At CRMHAA, we acknowledge the deep and ongoing impact this has on mental health and wellbeing. Today is a time to remember, to listen, and to hold space with care.
