Hi everyone! I hope September has been a good month. Even though we are not having our convention this weekend there are still some awesome events going on! Enbicon is happening this weekend in Fredericton and if you love gaming you should absolutely check it out! Lots of awesome things happening. If you are in Nova Scotia, there is an amazing geeky market being held at the IKEA by the Maritime Con Artist Group! We will miss you this year but soon will be announcing the new dates for the postponed con. - Sara

Join us tomorrow!!

Come join Miramichi River Fan Fest and the Alternative Arts Association of Atlantic Canada on Sunday. (MRFF) and (AAAAC) will be walking in the Pride Parade Hosted by Miramichi Rainbow River Fest. We invite any cosplayers or Community members that would like to walk with us to come out and Join us. You can start showing up at the Miramichi Mall around 11:45 on Sunday

To our amazing attendees,

It is with a heavy heart that we unfortunately, are going to have to postpone the convention this year due to medical issues. We are incredibly upset by this, and we wish there was a way for us to continue forward with this year's convention, but we have been advised at this time to step back from as much as we can. This only came to light last week, and after much discussion, we feel this is the best way to go. We already have tentative dates booked for next year, September 4-6 2026, and we hope that you are willing to join us then. We deeply apologize that this has happened so close to our event, but rest assured, we are not going anywhere.

Once again we are deeply sorry and we hope to see you next year.

We have rescheduled to next week!

We have rescheduled. Hello everyone, and sorry for the cancellation due to the fire, but the Miramichi Cosplay Club will be back again on August 19th from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the Miramichi Eco Centre. Miramichi River Fan Fest and the Alternative Arts Association of Atlantic Canada can't wait to see everyone back at the cosplay club on Tuesday. In this time we still encourage people to stay safe and take extra precautions because of the fire.

Due to the ongoing situation in Miramichi with the fire, we have decided to cancel tonight's Cosplay Club. We appreciate everyones patience and want to make sure everyone is safe. Our thoughts go out to Miramichi during this time, and we hope it is resolved soon! We are hoping to reschedule the club and will update with more information when we have it. Binrand is a master level cosplayer based in Ontario, Canada and is known in the community mostly for her arsenal of armour builds and elaborate wig making. She is a huge fan of video games, anime, and other areas of pop culture, and has been building cosplay for over 10 years. She takes pride in being as accurate and detailed as she can with her builds and continuously strives to improve her work and learn something new with each new build. She has a love for learning and enjoys passing her knowledge of the craft along to others. When not working on cosplay she can be found playing video games and hanging with her kitties or catching those extra steps at the gym.

The Freakish Workshop is a foam crafter that specializes in comic book and sci-fi media. His cosplay style can be described as utility and realism married to a comic book aesthetic. He is best known for developing and selling EVA foam crafting templates and publishing tutorials on his Etsy page and YouTube channel.

Cosplaying since ye olde 2015, xocosplay, formally known as Lars, has been working on improving his craft throughout the years with ever new cosplay and challenge he uptakes! Wanting to continue learning new skills and teach and support others while doing so, Lars has found a love for creating cosplays over the years! He has a huge focus and passion for inclusion and positivity within the local and cosplay communities, letting everyone know they can be who they are, expressing themselves, and being true to themselves! He loves to talk about how cosplay led him to meet his lifelong friends and began his transitioning journey, so stop by for a quick hello or a nice chat! He might just yap your ear off.

We are so excited to share our next guest, Megan Huang!

Megan Huang is a mixed Canadian comic artist (and writer) from Toronto, with several years of experience in the industry. She’s worked for companies like DC, Image, Dark Horse, Z2, IDW, Oni Press, Magma Comix, and Titan. Her work includes covers for Star Wars, My Little Pony, Star Trek, Godzilla Rivals, Scooby-Doo/Batman, and interior art for Aggretsuko and Rick and Morty.

We are so excited to announce Ty Odinson! An incredibly talented Cosplayer!

Ty Odinson is a Cosplayer based out of New Brunswick. He loves attending Cons and meeting new people. He has often been classified as a very social geek and loves to cosplay in groups. He is most recently known for his Viking and Nanami (JJK) Cosplays.
He has also cosplayed as Shazam, Thor, Tengen Uzui from Demon Slayer, Invincible, and many more.

His biggest cosplay accomplishment so far has been his Arsenal cosplay, which includes a full armor set that he built entirely from scratch.

Some future projects include: Omniman and a few secret anime cosplays.

Ty is a huge nerd, loves cosplay, video games, board games, comics, anime, and fitness! He loves meeting and chatting with new people, especially when it’s about cosplay, so don’t ever be shy to come say hello to Him.
