ACT Alberta has offered our community a valuable opportunity and will be in Fort Smith starting Oct 20,
at 6:00pm it will provide training and education on human trafficking awareness and prevention.
We extend our sincere gratitude for their support and for making this opportunity available to our community.
This community initiative welcomes community members, as well as those working in community support, mental health, wellness, and frontline services.
Itโs an opportunity to learn together, ask questions, and strengthen our ability to recognize warning signs, respond safely, and help prevent exploitation.
The community open house will also include a presentation from a survivor of human trafficking, sharing their lived experience and insight to help deepen our understanding.
