From the KidSport family across Canada, we're sending a huge GO CANADA GO! to the Canadian Men's National Team as they take on Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup on home soil.

Moments like these are more than just matches - they're milestones that inspire the dreams of young athletes from coast to coast. Seeing Canada compete on the world stage shows kids what's possible when they have the opportunity to play, grow, and believe in themselves.

Join us on Tuesday, June 2 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the NVT Logistics Track inside the Pomeroy Sport Centre to learn more about living with low vision and blindness.

Edwina Nearhood will share her experience and guide participants through a hands-on session where you can try on visual impairment simulation equipment. It is a great opportunity to better understand accessibility and the experiences of others in our community.

This event is part of National AccessAbility Week, running May 31 to June 6. This year’s theme is Building a Strong, Accessible Canada. Let’s continue working together to create a community where everyone has equal opportunity to thrive.
