Murray Ridge Ski Hill and Terrain Park

Slush Cup event date has changed to this March 12th.
The Annual Murray Ridge Bathtub race needs more bathtubs to be entered for racing. This is the best event ever and we need more community support. Get your bathtub theme on!

Volunteers wanted to help out for the day. Show up by 10am to volunteer.
Check out the hot Barbque. Some sweet live music!

Everyone is invited to the Fort St James' Community Ethnic potluck Fundraiser held by Syrian Refugee Sponsorship Committee. Mark the date, March 19th 6-9pm, 2016. It will be at the High School Small Gym. Fun Family night, $10 per person or $30 for family. Tickets are at Terri's Hair Salon, Library, Pharmacy, Soup Wallah or Integris Credit Union. Drumming, face painting, toonie auction, belly dancing, and more!
Just a point of clarification...that bringing an ethnic dish is part of the entry fee. We ask that people will cook food, bring a salad or desert to this event because while there is an entry fee, please volunteer to contribute something to the collective dinner. Thank you for your community generosity.

The Learning Hub Programs and Resources for life long learning. Basic Computers for Beginners- March 4 & 11, 1-4 pm. Cultural Competency - March 9th, 9am-3pm; Storytelling with Violet; March 17th , 1-3pm ; Train the Tutor - April 9& 10; Multicultural Cooking - April 4, 11, 18, & 25 ; Best Driver - May 2, 9, 16, & 23; Plain and Clear Language - May 12th. The Learning Hub is looking for volunteers to help with tutoring and other tasks. If you enjoy people and would like to help them out with their literacy and learning this is a good way in to get experience in this field. For information to volunteer or to get into one of these CNC College programs please contact (250) 996 7078 or email [email protected]. Do you know someone who is fighting a battle against Cancer. Come out and support a local Silent Auction, Dinner and Dance (The Relay for Life Team will make some beautiful homemade desserts). The Silent Auction will be held at the North Arm Pub, Saturday March 26th, 2016 at 7:00pm. All proceeds go towards Cancer research. Tickets are $25 per person. Volunteers for Relay for Life teams wanted. Form a team to help raise money to combat cancer. Contact Arlene Willick 996-8507, Karon Williamson 996-7549. Must be 19+ for North Arm E-Lemon-ate Cancer Event.
