Well… Mother Nature wins. Our trails are officially closed for the season.

A big thank you to everyone who supported the club this year by purchasing a membership!

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our sponsors. If you stopped at any of our shelters this season, you likely saw the new sponsorship boards. The support from our community and surrounding area was incredible — to the point we had to expand the boards just to fit everyone.

Your support directly helps fund fuel, maintenance, and repairs for the groomer, while also contributing to things like trail stakes/signs, shelter supplies and various capital projects that will keep our local snowmobile club strong for years to come.

The operations of our club are also not possible without our groomers, who put in a ton of window and seat time keeping our trails buttery smooth. Along with our executive and various volunteers throughout the season. The trails simply don’t open without these individuals.

Thank you to our 2025–2026 sponsors:

Happy Saturday Everyone!
The valley is getting a bit of a sprinkling of snow this morning. The forecast looks like we are going to have a few more weeks of riding to squeeze in.🤞

McLean Hi Point Drifters is having their derby today. Details can be found on their page. Head out and support them!

Next Saturday March 7th is Cupar Snowmobile Club’s Derby. Last year we had over 20 riders join us on a ride from Spancos to Cupar to support our neighbouring club. If any members would like to join again this year, we will be meeting at Spancos between 10:30am and 11:00am next Saturday. Hope you can make it out!

Happy Friday….Mother Nature has brought us one last kick at the can!

Our groomers worked extremely hard and spent the last 24 hours getting the trails groomed for everyone. Please be advised some stakes have fallen down in the last warm up, so please ride with caution. Or better yet, stand a sign up if you are riding by one that has fallen!
All trails have been groomed except for the secondary trail 302A from Balgonie to Edenwold to hwy 10, Trail 302E from hwy10 to Qu’Appelle and junction of trail 339B, Trail 302G from Junction of 339B to Junction of 302A (top of skihill).
Live trail conditions can be found on the SSA website or the app.

Have a great weekend everyone. See you on the trails!

The pits are filling up and it’s looking like a great day for some snow drags on Echo Lake! 🏁 🚦
Our team is out and about selling 50/50 and we are also located in a white F150 near the start line beside the concessions!
Proceeds will be helping the cost of finishing our new Balcares shelter among other projects. It’s looking like it’s gonna be a great turnout and the pot is growing fast 💰💰💰
Draw will be made at 3pm today and we will post the winning ticket on facebook. No need to be around for the draw.
Hope to see you out!
