From the Arctic Winter Games to meeting the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom! It is wonderful to see UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham visiting Wigan Table Tennis Club and meeting up with one of our former Arctic Winter Games coaches. The Table Tennis world may be large, but moments like this remind us how connected our community really is.

Great to see Table Tennis bringing people together, wherever in the world the game is being played!

What an incredible day of school sport! 🎉

Almost 64 Grade 4 and 5 students from eight Yellowknife elementary schools came together for more than 200 matches at the annual School Squash Tournament.

For many students, this was their first time stepping onto a squash court. It was wonderful to see them learning, improving, supporting one another, and giving their best throughout the day.

Congratulations to École St. Joseph School on winning the 2026 School Squash Banner, and congratulations to every student who participated!

Thank you to the Yellowknife Racquet Club, NWT Squash, and all the volunteers who created this fun and welcoming opportunity for our students.

Today, we are thankful for the athletes who inspire us, the coaches and officials who guide them, the volunteers and Board members who give their time, and the families and communities that make sport possible across the Northwest Territories.

We are especially grateful for the people who travel long distances, open their facilities, organize events, share their knowledge, and create welcoming places where everyone can participate and belong.

Together, we are building more than sport. We are building relationships, confidence, healthy communities, and opportunities for young people to become the best version of themselves.

Thank you for everything you do. We wish you and your families a safe, restful, and happy Thanksgiving.

Table Tennis is Physical Literacy in action! Every time someone picks up a racquet, they are developing coordination, balance, movement, reaction time, focus, confidence, and decision making.

The game can be enjoyed by people of different ages, abilities, and experience levels. It can be played competitively, recreationally, at school, in a community gym, or even outside on the land.

There is no perfect way to be active. Find something you enjoy, keep learning, and keep coming back for more.

When people hear the words physical literacy, they often ask the same question: “What exactly does that mean?” The answer is simple. Physical literacy is the confidence, motivation, knowledge, and physical skills to enjoy being active throughout life. It is not about being the fastest runner, th...

No measuring and no searching for the answer! How well could you guess the size of a Table Tennis ball? Watch the players give it a try, then share your own guess in the comments before checking the answer. Who will get the closest?

Eight European singles titles across 19 years. What an incredible example of excellence, consistency, and a lifelong commitment to Table Tennis.

Timo Boll reached the top of the world and continued winning through three different eras of the sport. His journey reminds athletes everywhere that success is built through patience, learning, resilience, and many years of dedicated work.

As the 2026 European Individual Championships approach, who will be inspired to write the next chapter?

Great coaching is about more than developing sport specific skills. It is about helping people build confidence, feel a sense of belonging, take ownership, and grow as athletes and community leaders.

Join Isaac Ayiku for Beyond The Game: Coach the Athlete, Develop the Person, Build the Community.

This professional development session will explore practical ways coaches can create safe, supportive, and challenging environments where athletes can grow. The ideas shared can be used by coaches across different sports, age groups, communities, and levels of competition.

Table Tennis everywhere!!! 🏓🌲 A school camp on the land in the Dehcho is the perfect place for a game.

It is wonderful to see Arctic Winter Games Coach Neilson sharing Table Tennis with students and showing that our sport can be played almost anywhere. All you need is a table, a couple of racquets, a ball, and someone ready to play!
