Today, it was truly an honour for members of our team to walk alongside community members at the Truth and Reconciliation Walk in Fort Chipewyan. 🧡
Every step was an opportunity to remember, reflect, honour Survivors and their families, and recognize the children who never made it home.

For Mikisew Awasis Kisiwatsowin Society, reconciliation is more than words- it is reflected in how we walk alongside our children, families, Elders, and community each and every day.
We are grateful to have shared this meaningful day together and to stand in unity, remembrance, and hope for future generations.

🧡 Every Child Matters. Today and every day. 🧡

Special thank you to Mikisew Eyes Supplies Tammie Tuccaro for our beautiful sweatshirts ❤️
