It is with a heavy heart I must post this, unfortunately we must cancel our Community Bingo for next week, Tuesday June 9th. We simply do not have enough time to remedy the issue, and apologize for the short notice. We will not be running Bingo or events for the duration of the summer, but have everything in the works to resume again in the fall. We expect to start Bingo up again September 8th, please watch near the end of August for details!
The Clubhouse is available year round for private rentals, and my summer calendar is filling up. If you would like to visit the building for a viewing or book a date for an event, you can call or text Jess @ 780-799-1637 or email me at [email protected] and I'll do my best to accomodate you! Please keep in mind that the Lions Members and myself are all volunteers, and will do our best to respond to inquiries as quickly as possible, but sometimes life happens. Thank you in advance for your patience.
For inquiries regarding the Lion's Family Park and Playground (not the clubhouse), please check the RMWB website or call Pulse @ 780-743-7000 with any questions or concerns. On a good note, the water levels of the Hangingstone River have dropped and is no longer flooding the banks. The public is welcome to continue to use the park, but we and the city, urge you to use caution when walking the paths or around the riverbanks, as the flooding made it messy and possibly unstable in certain areas. Also keep in mind that with summer here, the bears are around and occasionally like to visit the park as well, so always be aware of your surroundings, and do not leave food or garbage laying around, and ask that visitors please pick up after their animals when enjoying the park. I will check and share any posts from the RMWB regarding the park for public info.
