The Annual SMS Equipment Inc. Wine Auction is the elegant, one-of-a-kind event that kicks off the Wood Buffalo gala season in style, featuring live entertainment, stunning decor, specialty refreshments created specifically for the evening, and - of course - a selection of wine and other beverages not usually found in our region. Since the first Wine Auction 16 years ago, its been held at different locations and with different themes, but one thing remains the same; this is the event you don't want to miss!

The funds raised through the Wine Auction directly support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wood Buffalo's life-changing mentoring programs that help young people in Wood Buffalo build confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to thrive. These programs include one‑to‑one matches and group‑based initiatives that connect children and youth with positive role models who inspire and empower them.

Crown and Collar is one of those local businesses that really reflects the spirit of our community.

They’re locally owned and operated, and this year marks the second time they’ve chosen to support our live auction. This year, their donation is a custom women’s suit, created with the same care, detail, and finesse that defines all of their work.
