If you’ve been thinking about improving your communication, building confidence, or strengthening your leadership skills — this is your sign.

Tonight’s Word of the Day is: 🌱 CULTIVATE

To cultivate means to intentionally develop and nurture growth over time. That is exactly what Toastmasters is about. We do not grow by accident — we grow by practice, repetition, and courage.

Using the Word of the Day challenges us to:
• Expand our vocabulary
• Think more intentionally while speaking
• Improve spontaneity during Table Topics
• Develop verbal agility and confidence

Every meeting is an opportunity to cultivate clarity, cultivate courage, and cultivate leadership.

We warmly invite all members, returning guests, and especially newcomers to join us. If you know someone who would benefit greatly from stronger communication skills — bring one friend with you.

We would especially love to see more new faces and international students. This is a safe, supportive environment to grow one skill set at a time.

Let’s continue building leaders here in Fort McMurray.

Observe how teams cohere at work, at home, or in the community.

The more you reflect on it today,
the easier it will flow naturally in tonight’s meeting.

I encourage you to challenge yourself:
✅ Use “cohere” in your prepared speech
