Our Street Outreach team meets people where they are, sometimes literally, using an outreach van to bring resources directly to individuals who may not access a drop-in centre or traditional services.

It starts with something simple, showing up, building trust, having a conversation. From there, our team can help connect someone with housing, ID, health care, or whatever the next step looks like for them. Through this program alone, we've completed more than 140 housing assessments.

There isn't one path into homelessness, and there isn't one path out. Sometimes the first step is just being found.

We’re excited to welcome Matty Parlee to The Table on October 24 for live acoustic music throughout the evening.

The Table is about more than gathering for dinner. It’s about slowing down, connecting with the people around us, and coming together for a cause that matters.

One of the most common misconceptions we hear is that people experiencing homelessness don't want to work, or don't want housing. The reality is usually far more complicated.

Many of the people we support have faced significant trauma and real barriers, health challenges, a lack of ID, no fixed address to list on an application, no way to access the systems that are supposed to help. Some have been trying to navigate all of that for years, often without support.

We see a person working through circumstances most people never have to face.

We’re excited to welcome Rob Dante to The Table on October 24.

Rob is an Alberta-based professional magician who specializes in close-up magic and mentalism, bringing the experience right to the guests and creating those “how did he just do that?” moments up close.

It’s another piece of what we’re building for The Table: a night that brings people together, creates connection and gives our community something special to experience.

721 people accessed Centre of Hope's services this year, including 65 new women and 76 new men who walked through our doors for the first time.

A number like that can be easy to scroll past. But each one represents a real decision, someone deciding to ask for help, and our team deciding to be there when they did. That's the part a number alone can't show.
