This 9-week in-person program includes hands-on and simulator training: 1 week of Life Management and Safety Training, followed by 8 weeks training on the rock truck, grader, dozer, loader and excavator.

๐Ÿšง Pass a Physical Demands Test
๐Ÿšง Pass a Drug and Alcohol Test

Getting your Class 5 Driver's License is a great way to take your next step forward. Our cost-free, barrier-free program is now accepting applications for June 2026.

Training includes:
๐Ÿš— Two-day class training on June 27th & 28th (available in-person and online)
๐Ÿš— Four two-hour in-car driving lessons through Fort Auto
๐Ÿš— Additional one-hour final lesson prior to your road test

Please join us on June 6 from 12-3pm for the 2nd Annual Blue Jean Jacket Day, hosted in partnership with ATC - Athabasca Tribal Council and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo at the Nistawoyou Association Friendship Centre.

Blue Jean Jacket Day was launched for the first time in Edmonton on June 6, 2023 and raises awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous men and boys. It is meant to serve as a counterpart to Red Dress Day, which takes place on May 5.
