Indigenous artists across Canada 👋🎨

Arts Council Wood Buffalo is inviting Indigenous artists to submit workshop proposals for the Suncor Indigenous Artist Program, a series of workshops and events running from Fall 2026 to Summer 2027. Share your knowledge, stories, and skills with our community through hands-on creative experiences rooted in your own practice and cultural background.

Mediums may include beading, leather work, sewing & ribbon work, painting, drawing, carving, textile arts, traditional crafts, and more.

Spend a creative Saturday in the park with us! ☀️🎨

The Summer Makers Market is back on August 29 at kiyām Community Park. Shop local artists, artisans, and makers, enjoy live entertainment and buskers throughout the day, and get creative with a family-friendly puppet-making drop-in activity.

Presented as part of the Fort McMurray Fringe Festival and in celebration of Alberta Day, it's a fun-filled day to experience the arts and enjoy community together.

Collective Threads is back! This open-call exhibition celebrates the breadth of creativity within our interwoven community, and we want YOUR work on the walls (and in the display cases) of the Community Art Gallery at MacDonald Island Park.

All skill levels, all ages, all backgrounds. Painters, photographers, sculptors, beadworkers, textile artists, ceramicists, woodworkers... if you make it, we want to see it.
