👏 A huge shoutout to Local 955 Union for their amazing Food Drive on August 14!

Thanks to their efforts, they collected:
2,318 lbs of food (equivalent to $8,997 based on Food Banks Canada standards)
$2,025 in gift cards and cash donations

Your generosity helps the Wood Buffalo Food Bank continue supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity across our region.

From choosing items based on each client’s needs and preferences to carefully putting everything together, our team works hard to make sure every hamper is thoughtful, nutritious, and personalized.

The Mobile Pantry is on the move!

Our Mobile Pantry team travels beyond Fort McMurray to help bring nutritious food and essential support to communities across the region.

It takes a lot of planning, driving, loading, unloading, and teamwork to make each trip happen, but it’s all worth it when we can connect with communities and help make food more accessible.

We’re proud to bring the Food Bank’s services where they’re needed most. Because everyone deserves access to good food, no matter where they live. ❤️
