Fort McMurray Somali Canadian Indoor Soccer Games Final Games

Games took place throughout the fall and final held game was at Keyano College's Syncrude Sports and Wellness Centre. The 6-team league games were to end in December but one team's players suffered more than 2 injuries and the finals were postponed for 1 month. The final game happened last week and penalty kicks decided the winner.

Players are already looking forward to the exhilarating spring and summer games. The summer soccer games and final games with cup awarding day often see city reps, MLAs, our MP, business leaders and much larger community members who come to the sounds and scenes of summer recreational sports in Fort McMurray.

Congrats to teams, players, and captains who played this year's indoor soccer and members for their community participation and support.

No, it's not about 'woke' it is about learning and supporting all we can do to lessen the physical and barriers out there.

The real barriers out there can negatively affect your family, relatives, friends or neighbours. Each has a right upon you. Try to understand and do your bit to lessen these barriers.
