We know signing up for a new activity can feel like a big commitment, especially when you’re not quite sure if your child will enjoy it. That’s exactly why we’re hosting our Skating Trial Day!

This is a chance for kids to get out on the ice, have some fun and experience skating in a relaxed and welcoming environment before deciding if they’d like to join us for the season. Whether they’re interested in figure skating, hockey, or simply learning how to skate, everyone is welcome! ⛸️🏒

No pressure and no cost — just an opportunity to try something new, meet some of our skating community and have some fun on the ice!

We’re excited to bring our skating community together for an evening of buying, selling and passing along gear between local families. It’s a simple way to clear out what you no longer need, find something new-to-you, and help make the upcoming season a little easier for another family.

Dig through those closets, equipment bags and storage bins — you never know what someone else may be looking for!

Back to School Connect is Almost Here!

Fort Macleod & District FCSS, in partnership with the Fort Macleod Lions Club, invites you to join us for Back to School Connect!

Getting ready for a new school year can be overwhelming—but you don't have to do it alone! Join us for a free community event where families can connect with local resources and get ready for the school year ahead.

What to expect: Free school supplies. Information from local organizations about programs and services for families. Donate non-perishable food items and/or gently used clothing in support of the Fort Macleod Lions Club's community support efforts.

Instead of letting them collect dust, consider donating them to the Fort Macleod Skating Club! Your gently used equipment can help make skating more accessible for local families and give another child the opportunity to experience the joy of being on the ice.

Every donation helps remove barriers and ensures more families in our community have the chance to skate, learn, and grow.
