The Cree Nation of Chisasibi is currently accepting applications for several positions in Youth Development, the Youth Center and Public Works.

📍 Youth Development
Provide administrative support for programs, activities and initiatives serving Chisasibi youth.

Plan and lead activities, programs and special events while encouraging youth to get involved and participate.

🦺 We have an upcoming ASP Construction 30hr Course (ASP Construction Safety Card) on September 28 to October 2 from 9am-5pm. **If you are a male in the Youth Trainee Program 2026-2027, you are already registered to take this course. If you are a female, declare your interest with Jasmine**

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our Single Entity: YD Career Fair a success! Featuring Cree Nation of Chisasibi this year🫶🏽

We sincerely thank all the CNC departments and staff for participating, sharing their knowledge, and showcasing the many career opportunities within our organization.

A special thank you to Big River High School for allowing us to use your facility, and to all the school staff and teachers for bringing and supporting their students.

We also want to thank our caterers Catherine Wash for feeding our CNC staff, and Cree Print Customs for creating our banners and helping bring the event together.

And a BIG thank you to our organizing committee and contracted workers: Rusty House, Nigel Napash, Shayla-Grace Napash & Callie Chiskamish for all the preparation, hard work, and dedication behind the scenes. Your efforts were truly appreciated!

Most importantly, thank you to all the students, youth, community members, and guests who attended and took the time to learn about the career opportunities available within CNC.

⏰ Time: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Schedule:
🔹 10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. – High School Students (Secondary 1 & 2)
🔹 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Open transition / booth preparation period
🔹 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. – High School Students (Secondary 3)
🔹 2:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. – High School Students (Secondary 4 & 5)
🔹 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Post-Secondary Students & the Public
