Tonight's games will be modified due to extreme heat.

As per our policy regarding heat/humidity:

Humidex 36-39: Games will continue with extra water breaks and modified playing times (e.g., playing in quarters instead of halves, rotating players more frequently).

Therefore, games tonight will be divided into four 8-10 minute quarters rather than 20 minute halves (for Squirts division, three 8-10 minute periods).

Parents please bring extra water to stay hydrated.

Please note that we recognize some kids do not handle the heat as well as others. We are also aware that a large component of our division 3 kids have already been outside all day today at their soccer tournament. We understand and encourage parents to make the best decision for their individual children. If attendance is low, we will combine teams as needed.

Just a reminder that our annual soccer windup is scheduled for June 20 (with a rain date of Jun 21) - we are working on the schedule and will be sending out information ASAP.

The intended format is the same as last year with all teams playing one (or more) games dependent on division - this will be paired with a family BBQ.

We will be looking for volunteers that day, so if you have a high school student who is willing to help us out, please email us at [email protected].

Fort Frances Youth Soccer is proud to congratulate both the boys’ and girls’ Fort Frances High School Muskies soccer teams on capturing NorWOSSA gold medals and earning the opportunity to compete at OFSAA from June 4–6, 2026. The boys’ team is travelling to Milton, Ontario, while the girls’ team heads to Belleville, Ontario.

Many of these student-athletes have been part of the Fort Frances Youth Soccer program since they were four years old, contributing as players, referees, or both. Seeing them reach this level of success is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and love of the game.

To support these athletes as they represent our community on one of the biggest stages in high school soccer, the FFYS Board has stocked their buses with cases of water and Gatorade to help keep them hydrated, energized, and ready to compete throughout the tournament.

We wish both teams the very best of luck at OFSAA and look forward to cheering them on as they make Fort Frances proud.
