🎉 Tuesday marked the first official Plastic Free activity here in Canada, held with the little students of Notre Dame Elementary School in Niagara Falls. The day began with a classroom session focused on environmental awareness before moving outdoors for a clean-up activity enthusiastically joined by the students.

It was a meaningful experience that combined education and action, encouraging younger generations to care for the environment. A sincere thank you to the school, the staff, the Principal, and the teacher involved for their support and collaboration 💙

Yesterday I joined a clean-up at Waverly Beach with the Kinette Club of Fort Erie, big thanks to them for organizing it. What a great morning!

Mark your calendars for April 11th from 11am-2pm and come on out to help the Kinette Club of Fort Erie clean up Waverly Beach!
We will supply free gloves, garbage bags, and water!
We hope to see as many of our community members out as possible to do a big spring clean! 🌳🌷

If you’re a senior in Fort Erie who needs help with litter in your yard, or if you know someone who does, I’m here to help for free.

As a volunteer with Plastic Free, I created “A Litter Help”: a simple, free service focused only on litter collection. I’ll pick it up, bag it, and you just place it out on collection day.

I’ll be taking part in the Plogging Day organized by Plastic Free (April 18–22).

Plogging means picking up litter while walking or running. I’ll simply go for a walk and help clean up along the way, with one goal: leave places a little better than I found them.

Today is another opportunity to recognize the rights, commitment, and contribution of women in society. In environmental volunteering, and within Plastic Free as well, many women dedicate their time and energy to protecting the environment. Not through slogans, but through concrete actions.
