Living in the country, although beautiful, is very different than the city, and it soon revealed one of it's major issues that I believe most towns are faced with. These cats have learned to survive outside their whole lives, bearing the winters, and living in colonies, where they give birth lite
rally dozens of litters of kittens throughout their life. This leads to huge numbers of uncared for ferals, and the cycle never stops. Imagine PAWS mission is to control the pet population by a no-kill philosophy, TNSR (Trap, Neuter/Spay, Return), and find homes for adoptable cats and kittens. Also, maintaining existing colonies with food, water, shelter, and medical care when needed. We also hope to educate on the importance of spaying and neutering, and pet care. We raise money with local events, our online shoppe, and by donations from you. In time, we hope to expand the sanctuary to other animal species, like dogs, farm animals, and all of nature's critters. Donations can be made at our website, www.imaginepaws.org .
