Many people with brain injuries experience sensory sensitivities. Bright lights, loud noises, strong smells, busy environments, or even too much activity at once can feel overwhelming.
What may seem like a normal environment to one person can be exhausting or distressing to someone living with a brain injury.
Sometimes, a quiet space, dimmed lights, or a little extra time can make all the difference.
Understanding leads to compassion. ๐
