There are a few spaces left in the Red Cross Babysitter's Course taking place at ECC (upstairs). Must be 11 years old or attending grade 6+.

Thursday May 14 & Friday May 15, 4:00-7:30pm (must attend both nights). Registration fee is $65.

Hamnay Contracting has been working hard at ECC! Thanks to Josh Price we have a brand new, skate-proof floor on our entire main level. The Forrest Rink has never looked better!

That’s a wrap, folks!

Thanks to everyone who supported our rink this season. The rink is now CLOSED.

This winter we:
-Were open for a total of 15 weeks 📅
-Organized 6 rec hockey teams with over 90 players, each team practicing twice per week
-Ran 4 home tournaments and hosted 19 games 🥅 🏒
-Held over 35 hours of ice bookings for birthday parties, outside hockey teams, family gatherings and friend groups 🎉
-Had over 300 hours of public skating/sticks & pucks
-Started our first ever breakfast club 🍎
-Saw the return of men’s night, power skating and learn-to-skate
-Held our annual 3 on 3 tournament weekend
-Repainted the inside of the rink, hall and viewing area, replaced the floors upstairs and in the canteen, replaced our furnace, installed protective netting behind the south net, reupholstered 70+ chairs in our community center, and installed cubbies in three dressing rooms 🔨 🦺

…and so much more! We’re grateful to our volunteers and families who drive the Zamboni, stock the canteen, run tournaments and games, empty the garbages, and keep our rink running smoothly all winter long. Thank you for donating your time so that the rink can be enjoyed by so many families.
