TRAIL ACCESS UPDATE ⚠

The path connecting Belvedere House is now open. As construction continues, we have closed the trail east of our lower parking lot.

Please use the road past the kiosk to access all trails.

Ever wanted to sketch the foothills as the sun sets, with the landscape changing by the minute? Or drop by after work and take your time exploring the exhibitions?

Now's your chance! On Friday, August 21, we’re extending our hours from 10 am to 9 pm, giving you the space to slow down and experience the property in a whole new way. This is part of our Sunset Hours summer series, happening once a month, so don’t miss this opportunity!

Bring your easel for some plein air painting, wander the grounds at golden hour, or browse the Gallery Shop and exhibition spaces at your own pace. However you choose to spend it, the evening is yours to enjoy.

Join us on Thursday, August 27 from 8:00 - 11:00 pm with Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area (ASCC) to learn about and view the partial lunar eclipse, which will cover approximately 96% of the moon’s surface in shadow, giving it a dim reddish orange glow.

We will be starting the evening with a presentation from RASC Calgary’s Steve Donaldson, and head outdoors to view the eclipse with telescopes and binoculars. This event is open to all ages, with registration by donation (suggested minimum $5/person or $20/family).

Please RSVP to [email protected] by August 21 to give us an idea of numbers. Refreshments will be served and you are welcome to bring blankets and camping chairs for sitting outside. Event participants are not required to pay for parking.
