The Club started our annual community project yesterday. Cleaning prepping and planting flowers at the Jubilee Home. Keep your eyes out for the crowd favorite sunflowers this summer, and more bedding plants to come. Of course had to finish the day off with ice cream.

And finally presenting our Cloverbuds ages 6- 8. third Hunter Wagner took us step by step on to how to bake a birthday cake ending of course with the best part eating the cake, second place went to Sylvie Butler who talked about how times have changed, she was inspired to write her speech from stories of her great Aunt Mae and first place went to Charlee Tocher who took us on a fast paced journey of her five seconds of fame as a mutton Bustin champion. the judges remarked that this was probably the toughest category to judge and how absolutely impressive these little people were. a big thank you to Ryan Luciuk, Linda Yaskowich and Val Block for making their way through some tough deliberations and giving these little ones encouragement moving forward. good luck at provincial competition and congratulations to all these impressive kiddos, your future is very bright with the skills you displayed here.

junior category- ages 9-12- Third Austynn Brehaut entertained us all with her adventures in babysitting, second place went to Peyton Van De Woestyne as she discussed common sense these days and first went to Kix Yewsuik who thoroughly entertained the audience with his ideas on what his animals would be telling him if they could talk. It is absolutely remarkable how brave and confident this whole group of young members were, capturing and holding the audiences attention with their story telling abilities. congratulations to those moving on to the provincial level and thank to our judges Norman Hall, Val Kerluke, and Pamela Kresowaty for your words of encouragement for each of these presenters.

Intermediate category ages 13-15
third place to Lilly johnston who spoke of finding balance in life as responsibilities grow. Second went to Wyatt Mack who had everyone laughing with "The adventures of Fred and Barney" where he explained some of the things he gets up to when spending time with his grandpa, and first place to Elli Vogel - with "equal opportunities" where she explored her own experiences with women's equality. A big thank you to our judges Brittany Dempsey, Shelly Thoen Chaykoski, and Aaron Kienle you seriously had your work cut out for you with the caliber of speeches and you did a wonderful job. Good Luck to our winners as they move to provincials in Humboldt on April 25th.

Third, Paisley Wolkowski, who tackled the hard topic of Mental health in agriculture with her personal family experience, 2nd place went to Reata Lovich with the weight that creates diamonds and 1st place went to Korbyn Kaufmann with "A Day in the Life" where she explored the pressures of being being a teenage girl. congratulations to all the seniors that made it to regionals and good luck to the winners headed to provincials on April 25th

"The Good Taste of the West" definitely showed up at East Regional 4-H public speaking, a huge thank you to Harvest Meats in Yorkton for helping us feed this big crowd of people. Absolutely outstanding support of the 4-H program.

This small crew of members put some major work into yesterday. I would say East Regional Public Speaking was a success....

This small crew of members put some major work into yesterday. I would say East Regional Public Speaking was a success. Many thank you's to follow but for now congratulations to all of those moving on to provincials, and every single member that got up and spoke in front of that great big crowd, that is an accomplishment in itself.
