The Carleton North Theatre in Florenceville-Bristol, NB plays host to the performances presented by the Carleton-Victoria Arts Council. John River valley in rural western New Brunswick, area residents from several small communities from Perth-Andover to Woodstock and beyond enjoy the intimate setting of this soft-seat venue. Approximately 400 seats are contained in twelve rows with centre, left an

d right sections. The Carleton-Victoria Arts Council was honoured to receive the Community Presenter's Award at Contact East 2007. This award recognizes excellence and achievement by a volunteer organization to present touring performances, commitment to excellence in programming and contribution to community life. The first presentation recorded by the CVAC was by the Canadian Brass in 1979. We are proud to maintain the long-standing tradition of presenting professional Canadian and international artists to local audiences. The continued success of the Carleton-Victoria Arts Council pays homage to the vision, hard work and dedication of the early committees.

FUN Fact: Even though we only have one show currently listed in our upcoming events, we are hard at week behind the scenes planning for our 2026/2027 season.

Of the 4 shows we have locked in, 3 of those are direct results of our attendance to East Coast Music Association (ECMA)'s 2025 ECMA International Export Program. Thank you again to Music·Musique NB and the Government of New Brunswick for helping us get there & to the East Coast Music Association for inviting us to this amazing conference!

We are excited to be heading to Sydney, Cape Breton for the 2026 East Coast Music Week in May, so we can continue presenting the best east coast talent in our community!

Saturday, February 7th - Acoustic East Coast!

Acoustic East Coast was created over the summer of 2025 and premiered in the beautiful acoustics of historic St. Mary’s church during the Under the Spire Music Festival. The performance features instrumental covers of favourite East Coast Canadian songs, interspersed with stories and anecdotes about how and why those songs were created.

Curated by Natalie Williams Calhoun, performed by PEI’s own Bayfield String Quartet and narrated by Cameron MacDuffee, expect to experience some of your favourite songs in a whole new way!
