Buttermilk Creek, named after the creek that runs into the Wolastoq / St. John River at Florenceville on the western shore, was started almost 20 years ago as a fundraiser for the Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery. The BMC Fair supports and welcomes those artists and artisans who use their hands in creating their art and the funds raised for the gallery go right back to supporting makers of all ages and interests through the Gallery and the River At Centre.
