Today brings us to the end of a very busy and celebratory month. It has been so jam-packed from start to finish and we’d like to take a minute to acknowledge all of the amazing events!
We started off strong, celebrating our Early Childhood Educators during ECE week. CNELC is so fortunate to have a team of dedicated, passionate, and outstanding ECE’s. Thank you so much to the parents and families who took the time to share their kind words and appreciation during this week and thank you to our empowering leader for making everyone feel special and loved!
Next we celebrated our phenomenal group of preschool graduates! We have 12 incredible preschoolers heading to kindergarten in September and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them! Starla, Karrie and Kaylee provided the most enriching, forest-school inspired program in the district of Carleton North. Every day was spent outside building, exploring, climbing, jumping, dancing, singing, laughing, learning, and we fully believe, lifelong skills and memories and were built here.
Mid-June we said farewell to two incredible NBCC students who we were so fortunate to host. We will miss them both this summer! Thank you Kamryn and Jayde for being a valuable part of our team.
June has also brought some obstacles to overcome but as a village we know we are more than strong enough to fight through. Starla is taking some time off to help with her daughter’s recovery after her scoliosis surgery. Please keep them in your thoughts as Jovi is recovering. Also keep your 👀 open for a fundraiser coming soon so support their family!
Kristina also celebrated furthering her education this month, graduating with honors from NBCC with her ECE diploma! We’re so proud of you and thankful to have you lead this team!
And finally we are celebrating new life as Destiny heads out on maternity leave, we can’t wait to meet her beautiful baby boy soon! 💙
It has been an eventful kick off to summer! We are excited to watch our garden and our littles grow 🌱
