Our Coal Miner Days Pancake Breakfast was a huge success, and we'd like to thank some of the people who helped us along the way:
Sparwood Coal Miner Days Society
Simply Buds and Blooms
The District of Sparwood
The Greenwood Mall
The Fernie Lions Club
and 279 Elk Valley Air Cadets

And all our Lions members who work so hard to make it happen year after year.

We're taking the summer off, but we'll be back in the fall, back to bingos, breakfasts and more! Have a great summer, everyone!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Much Video Family Dance, sponsored by the Coal Miner Days Society, at the curling rink, and supported the club by buying popcorn and cotton candy. It looked like everyone had a lot of fun and enjoyed the music.
Now rest up and get ready for tomorrow, because we'll be back out bright and early to cook up pancakes and sausages at the mall before the parade! See you all there!

A Roar from Before!!

The Lions are displaying a treasure trove of historical artifacts at the Coal to Creativity Arts and Culture Showcase tonight at the curling rink. 🦁📜

Come check out some of the artifacts on hand: our club has been active in the community for 55 years this December, and supported many local events, groups and activities.

(There's also some great old pictures to look at and see who you recognize as part of our walk through history) 📸👴

We'd like to thank the Sand Creek Lions for their visit to our meeting last night. It's always great to share ideas and learn about upcoming projects with our fellow Lions.
We were happy to return their 'missing' gavel, and receive our 'lost' tongs, in return too. Thanks again, Lions!
