Our mandate is to support all Veterans. If you are a Veteran, including serving military, RCMP and Peace Officers in a Special Duty Area or on a Special Duty Operation, or if you are a family member of a Veteran, we can help. We will help you access the care and disability benefits you are entitled to, and provide representation, advocacy and financial assistance free of charge, regardless of whet

her you are a Legion member or not. Contact your local Legion Branch Service Officer, or the Dominion Command Service Bureau for assistance. Did you know you don’t have to be a Veteran to join the Legion? The Legion is in a time of change and renewal, and we want YOU to be a part of it. If you’re not yet a Member, join the Legion family. Your membership supports the essential services the Legion provides to Veterans and within our communities. As an active member, you can get involved through volunteering, participating in branch activities, running for leadership opportunities, accessing the Member Benefits Package, and helping to shape the direction and future of this great organization. We encourage you to browse our website to learn about who we are, how we can help Veterans, our advocacy efforts, how we honour and promote Remembrance, our programs to support youth, and our member programs and activities. The Fergus Legion Br. 275 and our partners, Dixon Home Hardware Building Centre and Reliable Ford, would like to thank you for joining us in celebrating the Royal Canadian Legion’s 100th Birthday! There was music and games and magic and tacos and co****le and bingo and poppies and birthday cake, but it was OUR COMMUNITY that made it a great party — Here’s to a CENTURY of Remembrance, Veterans Support and Community Service! Next Friday, July 17th, The Fergus Legion, Br. 275 is hosting their FREE Community Street Party! What we have planned:

The Dixon Home Hardware Building Centre FAMILY ZONE will run in the eastside parking lot from 4 - 8 pm and will feature
• A strolling magician
• Cotton candy
• Face painting
• "Create a Poppy" craft table
• Giant board games and High Striker
• Firetruck tours w/ CW Fire, 5 - 8 pm
• Family line dancing w/ Coastal Cowgirl, 5 - 7 pm
• Free hotdogs and drinks provided by FreshCo Fergus (veggie dogs available)
• Birthday cake

The Reliable Ford FESTIVAL ZONE will run in the westside parking lot from 6 - 10 pm and feature
• $2 tacos (vegan, vegetarian and halal-friendly options available)
• $5 adult drinks
• Live music* w/ the Oscars, 6 - 7:45 pm
• Live music* w/ Lady Mondegreen, 8:15 - 10 pm
*bring your lawn chair for that festival feel!
• Line dancing lessons in the Hall w/ Coastal Cowgirl, 7:30 - 9:30 pm
