Our mandate is to support all Veterans. If you are a Veteran, including serving military, RCMP and Peace Officers in a Special Duty Area or on a Special Duty Operation, or if you are a family member of a Veteran, we can help. We will help you access the care and disability benefits you are entitled to, and provide representation, advocacy and financial assistance free of charge, regardless of whet

her you are a Legion member or not. Contact your local Legion Branch Service Officer, or the Dominion Command Service Bureau for assistance. Did you know you don’t have to be a Veteran to join the Legion? The Legion is in a time of change and renewal, and we want YOU to be a part of it. If you’re not yet a Member, join the Legion family. Your membership supports the essential services the Legion provides to Veterans and within our communities. As an active member, you can get involved through volunteering, participating in branch activities, running for leadership opportunities, accessing the Member Benefits Package, and helping to shape the direction and future of this great organization. We encourage you to browse our website to learn about who we are, how we can help Veterans, our advocacy efforts, how we honour and promote Remembrance, our programs to support youth, and our member programs and activities. Our Spring Fun Olympics was a great time for everyone. It was very well organized with games including pool, darts, euchre, cribbage and shuffle board. Prizes were awarded the top 3 teams. I hear there will be a Fall Fun Olympics...stay posted.
