Section one of the East Interchange is just about to knock the signal down at Emerson Junction. The throttle would be in notch-8, for the long climb to Nelson's Heights; that begins right at the tunnel portal past the signal.

The GNMRE was pleased to host the Spring Meeting of the TH&B Historical Society today. A fantastic presentation from Dave Paterson on the TH&B passenger trains from 1950-onward and a lot of questions and enthusiasm.
