Come to a Hydro One update & consultation on the ETOBICOKE GREENWAY, the 6.5 km hydro corridor running through Etobicoke Centre.

The No Trespassing signs are about to be replaced with
an invitation to enjoy this huge area for its green spaces and a new pedestrian-cycling path, linking Eglinton in the north to the Kipling subway station in the south.

There's also the opportunity to create gathering places, pollinator gardens, maybe even food growing plots if there's enough demand to push for them. Come explore & share what you would like to see.

A full house expected for tonight's Etobicoke Town Hall on the proposed Billy Bishop Airport expansion, co-hosted by residents associations along Etobicoke's waterfront.

Speakers include Councillor Amber Morley, MPP Lee Fairclough (via Zoom), Tim Gray/Environmental Defence, and David Powell/TOrealitycheck.ca. It should be very informative!

It’s a beautiful day in Neighbourhoods. The amazing Lake Shore West Garden Tour started at 9:15am with guest speaker Frankie Flowers (for real!). Then folks began touring the 45! gardens across 4 Neighbourhoods: Alderwood, Long Branch, New Toronto and Mimico. They’re open till 4pm.
