Hi Everyone! Here is a message from the father of one of the sweet babies we helped out last year. Merry Christmas, and thank you all so much for your support this time last year. ❤️❤️. It truly left a lasting impact.
“Hello everybody!
I guess it's better late than never)
My name is Oleksandr, my wife is one of the two newly arrived girls who gave birth to children last winter.
We are very grateful to all of you for helping us in any way, be it personal things for the baby, for the mother, diapers, toys, books,
cool baby cribs and rocking chairs, cash and more. I don't even remember everything.
I was pleasantly surprised when 3 full pickup trucks parked near our house with gifts for two expectant mothers)
There were really many, many gifts!
I remember your help all this time, and although it is much late, I want to thank you all for your very great help.
Our daughter, Solomiia, turned 1 on December 16, and we are still using some of the clothes you gave!)
We are very grateful to you for this huge help!
I want to express my gratitude to Cory and Megan Casemore, Grandma Val and Grandpa Brian, Becky and Keith Cassidy with their friends (sorry, I remember just Nadine, but I dont remember names of all other volunteers),
everybody from Sunflower organization, nurses from the local hospital,
who took care of us while there was heavy snowfall between Estevan and Regina on the night of December 14-15, 2022, coordinated us on when to leave and how to check road conditions online,
after all, we gave birth in Regina and in a matter of hours the road froze over and we were strongly advised not to set off at night, but to wait for the morning, which we did.
Thanks to my friend and comrade Iurii Akinchets and his wife Yulija Kurilenko for the provided car, which helped a lot before and after childbirth!
I want to thank the local Police Department for donating a wonderful car seat for safe trips and travels of our little princess!
Unfortunately, I don't know the names of everyone who helped and supported us, but thank you all, your help is invaluable!!!
