Did you get your hearing tested today? 👂

Thank you to Angela Chandler from Canadian Hearing Services, based in Sudbury, for providing our hearing clinic services today at the Espanola Elks. And thank you to all those who stopped by to have their hearing tested, and to Lion Beth for her hard work on this initiative. Despite some delays, it turned out to be a great success!

At last night's meeting, Zone Chairperson Beth McVey presented Espanola Lions President Grant Lewis with 3 awards won on behalf of our club through Lions District A5.

Our Espanola Lions received the following awards:
- District A-5 Hearing Award for our work in hosting the Lions Hearing Clinic
- Diabetes Canada Award for helping District A-5 raise over $5000.00 for diabetes in conjunction with other clubs
- Myra Kiernan Service Award for 100% reporting of our volunteer hours and activities, which helps A-5 apply for Lions Club International grants.
