If anyone is needing an Easter bag/basket for your kiddo for Easter morning, we have 2 small bags with a couple things in each free to anyone who needs it! The bags are located at 903 Vanier Road in Espanola. We decided since losing our son and not really being able to buy for him this year, we would buy for 2 other children and make their Easter morning maybe a bit brighter!
Please pm me if you'd like one! We know times are tough right now for everyone! ❤️🐣🐰

🌟 Community Hero Announcement! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce Colleen Pichoskie as the well-deserved winner of our 4th Quarter Community Hero Award! 🏆 Colleen and her daughter, Kristin, have been making a significant impact in our community through their heartfelt initiative - "Oak's Tree of Love."

Colleen and Kristin have been dedicating their time to assemble bereavement boxes for hospitals, offering comfort to families navigating the difficult journey of losing a child. This compassionate duo initiated "Oak's Tree of Love" after Kristin experienced the heartbreaking loss of her son, Oak Beaudyn Noel.

Their mission is not only to support grieving families but also to honor the memory of Kristin's late son, Oak. These bereavement boxes provide solace and essential items during a time of immense sorrow, offering a glimmer of light in the darkest moments.

If you're interested in learning more about their cause or considering contributing to this incredible initiative, please visit their page, Oak's Tree Of Love . Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of families facing loss.

Let's join hands in applauding Colleen Lecuyer - Pichoskie and Kristin for their selfless dedication to our community and their inspiring efforts to bring comfort to those in need. 🌈💙

Experiencing the loss of a child is unbearable.
My name is Kristin and I am 29 years old.
1 year ago, I had my first and only child,
Oak Beaudyn Noel.
On March 25th 2023, I went in for my last ultrasound appointment and was then rushed for an emergency csection.
When Oak was born, he was not breathing and was without oxygen for over 4 minutes until he was resuscitated where he was then transferred and flown out to Toronto Sick Kids.
Our brave little man fought hard but on March 29th 2023, Oak took his last breath and joined the angels.
Through the past year of grieving the loss of my baby boy, I've come across alot of families experiencing losses and wanted to find a way to help them while honoring Oak.
And so, through our heartache, me and my mom Colleen, began this organization and through generous donations from the community, we are able to make bereavement boxes for hospitals to provide to families experiencing the loss of a child.
These boxes are donated to the hospitals so that the resources are available for familes when a loss occurs as sadly, it has come to light that a lot of hospitals lack the resources.
When I think back to my time at Sick Kids in Toronto and the box we received with different mementos/keepsakes of Oak, I am reminded how important they are, how thankful I am to have them and how every family should have something to remind them of their baby.
These keepsakes and mementos are all that families have left of their babies and it is important to me that these families are cared for and get these mementos/keepsakes and know they are not alone.
Through this organization we are able to bring comfort to these families and keep the memory of my son alive.
These boxes may include depending on products available:
A crochet baby blanket and hat, a crotchet prayer square, a candle, hand/foot ink pad kit, a mommy and me bracelet, a grieving book, a journal, a footprints in the sand card, a letter to the family, a glass bottle for a lock of babys hair, a rosary, a teddy bear, a mini bible, etc!!
If you have donated in anyway to our organization THANK YOU! You are a blessing to hurting families.
If you are able to donate any of the above/other items or make a money donation, please email [email protected] or message us!
Any/all money raised will be used strictly for the production of the boxes and every dollar used recorded and accounted for!
So many families suffer in silence, so PLEASE SHARE to bring awareness to neonatal deaths, stillborn, and miscarriage.
