We’re excited to share that we’ve been invited again to Tyko’s Thrive Tribe 2nd Annual Halloween Party! 🎃

We know this is short notice, but we will have transit available for anyone interested in attending!

The event will take place tomorrow from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Membertou Trade & Convention Centre. There will be a best costume contest, door prizes, food, snacks and treats!😊👻

Wela’lioq to everyone who came out to our cooking class yesterday! ❤️ We had so much fun cooking together and making hamburger macaroni casserole! It was great seeing everyone join in, learn, and enjoy themselves.

Come on out to our Eskasoni Nepisulti'kul Spooktacular Run to win some cool prizes.

Prizes for 5K Runners awarded to the runner with the best halloween costume, along with best times in three categories male and female - Grand Master 50+, Masters 40-50, Youth 40 and under.

There will also be 3 draws for participants of the 2K Family Fun Run.

All runners and participants are encouraged to wear their costumes as our Trunk or Treat will also be happening from 11am to 1pm.

Unama'ki Bounce Rentals will be on site along with FREE barbecued hot dogs and drinks for everyone.

Our Neurodivergent Cooking Classes Are Back!

Sorry for the late post, everyone! We’re happy to be getting our cooking classes going again, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back!

Join us Wednesday, October 14th, from 4–6 PM at Eskasoni Middle School. This time, we’ll be making macaroni and hamburger!

This class is open to ages 13 and up, and we’ll also have a chance to win a door prize!

On October 20th Family Service NS (hosts of the Steps for Fatherhood Program) will be back in the community to offer a session of connection and conversation!
Currently we are working towards hosting monthly drop-ins like this, in between longer programming

ALSO, if there are 5 committed caregivers who are interested in attending the Steps for Fatherhood 6-week session, we may be able to host again this winter! But we will need seriously committed individuals to join to keep this going. Wela'lin!

This month is all about spreading awareness, understanding, and acceptance for people with ADHD.

ADHD can look different for everyone. It’s not just about being distracted or hyperactive. it can affect things like focus, organization, emotions, time management, and everyday life.

Let’s use this month to learn more, listen without judgment, celebrate differences, and support our ADHD community.

Everyone’s brain works a little differently, and that’s okay💙🧠
