There will be a 9 week mining essentials training program located in Membertou sometime in mid November. They are looking for 13 participants from the 5 cape breton communities. It includes a weekly stipend also a bonus upon completion along with a graduation gift.

This program is open to all Band Members.

The training is primarily intended for individuals interested in starting their own heat pump cleaning business and gaining the skills and knowledge needed to provide this service professionally.

There will also be a designated time slot for homeowners who are interested in learning how to properly clean and maintain their own heat pumps.
