Celebrating 5 Years of the Erin Youth Hub! 🎉

Last week, we celebrated five years of the Erin Youth Hub with an open house that welcomed community members into the space to see firsthand the impact the hub has had on local youth.

A highlight of the celebration was the food prepared by youth, including wraps, sandwiches, and cookies, showcasing the leadership, creativity, and talents that make the hub so special.

Visitors explored the hub and learned how youth use the different spaces through displays featuring youth stories, quotes, and experiences. They also had the opportunity to read memories shared on our Memory Wall and add messages to our Gratitude Table, creating a powerful picture of five years of connection, growth, support, and belonging.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this milestone and to all who have contributed to making the Erin Youth Hub a place where youth can thrive. 💙

📢 We're Hiring: Youth Ambassador (Erin)!

Are you passionate about supporting youth and creating positive community connections? 🌟 Join the Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario Wellington-Guelph team as a Youth Ambassador and help create a welcoming, inclusive space for youth ages 12-25.

In this role, you'll support drop-in programming, facilitate engaging workshops and activities, connect youth with wellness resources, and help build awareness of the services available through YWHO W-G.

📍 Erin, ON

💲 $18/hour

🕒 Full-time | 4-12 month contracts

📅 Start Date: September 2026

This is a great opportunity for students or graduates in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, C*C, SSW, and related fields looking to gain hands-on experience in youth engagement and community wellness.

🎉 Thank You! 🍪

The Smile Cookie campaign raised $8,446 for the YWHO Wellington-Guelph Main Place Erin Hub!

From April 27–May 3, our community came together—every cookie made a difference, with 100% of proceeds supporting local youth.

These funds help youth ages 12–25 access mental health, health, education, employment, and social supports—all in one welcoming space.
