I was on Parliament Hill for the NO ALTO protest this afternoon. 👍
Seeing hundreds of people walking towards P Hill, chanting "NO ALTO" and holding signs...well it was
pretty amazing, that's for sure! 😁
I was in good company, I was able visit with the wonderful Shelby Kramp-Neuman MP plus spent time with fellow Councillors Shari Milligan and Wenda Lalande. 👍

A huge shout out to all of the incredible Firefighters who rallied together at the massive barn fire near Napanee yesterday. 🔥
Municipalities had each other's backs and it was a true team effort!

What an amazing time it was at the D-Day anniversary celebrations in Tamworth on Saturday.👍

I was honoured to lay a wreath on behalf of Ric Bresee Hastings-Lennox & Addington and the Province of Ontario in remembrance of the Canadian effort on June 6 1944.

Without this "Day Of Deliverance" it's likely the Allies would never have prevailed over Hilter's war machine, and the consequences of that would have been dire...😔

A HUGE shout out to the volunteers, sponsors and those who made the displays, it was amazing.

Your dedication is impressive. ❤️

Tomorrow (Friday June 5th) at approx. 12pm, Bob Vannest's procession will travel from Hannah Funeral Home in Tamworth, passing through Enterprise and the hamlet of Moscow.

Firefighters will be roadside at Fire Station #2 Enterprise to honour Bob as the procession goes by.

Feel free to join them at the hall or anywhere roadside on the route as we pay our respects to Bob for a lifetime of service to our community. ❤️

A public reception will follow at the Enterprise Fire Station beginning at 1230.
