Hello Everyone!! Thank you to all for coming out and sharing a meal with this remarkable community on June 23rd at the Elora Legion!!! Feeding the Soul Community Luncheon rests till September but not before we enjoyed Joe Lozinski’s chicken drums from Joe’s Home Farm and Greenhouses in Belwood! Thank you Joe!!!❤️Thank you Ross Detweiler for cooking those up with a delish BBQ sauce! Thank you Peter Skoggard for creating the most tasty salads of greens, coleslaw and veggies ( not to mentions the croutons made with Elora Bread Co. Sourdough ) Thank you Elora Bread!!! ❤️Thank you Resa Lent for the most scrumptious Trifle with pineapple and heavenly cream!!!❤️Thank you to the amazing kitchen preppers ,cleaners and food packagers; Shirley Vallis, Nancy Goodfellow, Shelley Sheridan, Deb Watters, Linda Vines, Tiffany Burch, Jim Wilson and Julie Galloway!!! ❤️Thank you to our incredible MaryBeth Rutherford who makes sure that all coffee, tea and beverages are always there and hot for you!!!❤️ Thank Brian Patience who drives our meals to those of you who can’t make it out!!❤️Thank you to all volunteers who made the Legion Hall into a welcoming and efficient lunching haven: Joanne Badder, Kay Kavanagh Neely, Shelley Adams, MaryBeth Rutherford, Shirley Vallis, Shelley Sheridan, Deb Watters, Linda Vines, Pat Dewar, Resa Lent and Peter Skoggard!!!❤️Thank you to Jim Young and Audrey Watts for lifting our spirits with music and song! Hello Luncheonettes! We thank you for coming out to Community Luncheon on June 9th… we enjoyed the No Name Band with Jim Young and the guys!!!❤️Our Mexican inspired menu was a hit with sides of sour cream and salsa ( thanks Resa!). We also had pear rhubarb cake wth ice cream!!! We wish to thank our amazing volunteers: Deb Watters, Linda Vines, Joanne Badder, MaryBeth Rutherford, Shirley Vallis, Kay Kavanagh Neely, Shelley Sheridan, Barb Gooch, Shelley Adams, Jim Wilson, Pat Dewar, Donna McCaw, Tiffany Burch, Julie Galloway, Finn McManus, Resa Lent and last but not least Peter Skoggard!! ❤️Thank you as well to Elora Bread Company and SEED Guelph and of course the Elora Legion!!!❤️ We will have our final Luncheon until September this coming Tuesday, June 23rd! Thanks everyone for come out to the Feeding the Soul Community Luncheon on May 26th at the Elora Legion!! We had a tasty Italian inspired meal of butterflied sausages, roasted veggies with Parmesan, coleslaw and Elora Bread from our local Bakery ( big thanks ❤️). Thank you Resa for delicious rhubarb apple crisp with whipping cream!!! ❤️Once again we could not have done it without our stupendous volunteers; Shelley Adams, Kay Kavanagh Neely, Deb Watters, Pat Dewar, Barb Gooch, Jim Wilson, Tiffany Burch, Donna Doous, Shelley Sheridan, Shirley Vallis, Ross Detweiler, Peter Skoggard, Resa Lent and last but not least Brian Patience!!! ❤️Thank you Angie Walser, Mark and the The Elora Legion!!! ❤️Thank you SEED Guelph for all that you do to help feed communities!!! ❤️We have our next Luncheon this Tuesday June 9th! Hello everyone! Thank you for coming out to a fun filled Luncheon on May 12 at the Elora Legion! We enjoyed a tuna casserole with a curry side and a Romain salad, ice cream, and cookies! We thank the No Name band for their cheery musical accompaniment!
