What a Day!
Sensational Elora’s 2025 Sensational Soup Off & Empty Bowls Event
Sunday, November 2

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our signature fundraiser for the Centre Wellington Food Bank — it was a blast! ❤️

Over 265 people joined us to taste, vote, and celebrate community, creativity, and great soup.

So many thanks to the amazing volunteers who made it all possible, our talented potters whose beautiful handmade bowls nearly sold out, and our incredible musicians Pam Davis, Nick Gush, and Liam Grier who filled the hall with wonderful music.

🎤 A special shout-out to our fantastic emcees Barb Lustgarten-Evoy and Ryan Joyce, who kept everything flowing smoothly and full of energy all afternoon!

Soup Highlights:
13 passionate soup makers wowed the crowd with their delicious creations.
Our judges — Jeff Stewart, Lynn Broughton, and Alex Kastner — joined forces with audience votes to crown our 2025 winners:

🏅 Youth: Arya Mojallali – Mojo Stew
🏅 Amateur: Jana Burns – Thai Chicken Soup
🏅 Pro: Ben Sacshe – Tomato Lentil Soup
