SaveOurWater.CA has created talking points to help with commenting on the province's proposed new policies for managing water taking. The commenting period ends Aug 2. We don't often get this opportunity, so let's make the most of it!

There are less than two weeks remaining before the August 2nd deadline for comments on the Ministry's proposed new policies for managing water taking in the province. Calling all Water Protectors! As you may have noticed, SaveOurWater.CA has launched their campaign. In an effort to remain socially connected and keep the fire stoked on this very important issue, they are asking community members and other supporters to participate. As a Water Protector, this is a perfect opportunity to easily get involved and from the comfort of your home!

So grab a chalkboard, whiteboard, sidewalk, or any other type of blank slate, and write a short message to tell us what water means to you and why you . Next, have someone in your house snap a photo of you with your message and post it on your social media, tagging SaveOurWater.CA. Thanks for continuing to protect water!

We need to make sure this doesn't happen here, and that starts with us letting the province know that local water needs must take precedence over commercial water bottling operations!
