A truck loaded with humanitarian supplies traveled from the Netherlands to Ukraine, where MCC partners will distribute essential items to people affected by war and displacement.

From hygiene supplies and blankets to canned food, this assistance will help meet the needs of approximately 24,000 people, including families who have been forced to leave their homes.

MCC Ontario is looking for a Thrift Growth & Performance Manager to strengthen leadership, improve business performance and help shape the future of our Thrift Network.

You’ll coach General Managers, use financial and operational data to turn insight into action and help evaluate new shops, social enterprises and other growth opportunities. Working alongside thrift and organizational leaders, you’ll help strengthen operations, develop leaders and build the long-term sustainability and impact of MCC Ontario Thrift.

After devastating flash flooding in Nepal, MCC is working with local partners to provide emergency relief to affected communities. Support includes food, clean water supplies, hygiene and dignity kits, bedding, clothing and psychosocial care, alongside ongoing recovery efforts.

Every donation, purchase and volunteer hour at MCC Thrift helps support local and global projects through MCC, including emergency response when communities need it most.

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Today, we pause to honour and remember the Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities, and the children who never came home. Every child matters. 🧡

MCC Thrift Elmira is hosted on the traditional lands of the Attawandaron, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples, today the Six Nations and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. This land is part of the Dish with One Spoon Wampum and Crown Grant to the Six Nations, Haldimand Tract. We are grateful to live, work and gather on these lands.

Through MCC Ontario's Indigenous Neighbours team, we invite churches and individuals to learn alongside First Peoples so we can work together toward healing and justice.
