In collaboration with WOCC, Hydro One and Valard Construction, we will be hosting a COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE and JOB FAIR and BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT connected to Waasmoowin and Hydro One’s North Shore Link and Northeast Power Line projects.

The Community Open House will provide you with the opportunity to learn more about the projects, receive updates, ask questions and provide feedback.

The Job Fair and Business Engagement event will provide the opportunity to explore potential employment, training and business opportunities. Potential opportunities include skilled trades, apprenticeships, heavy-equipment operation, construction, labour and site-support roles.

Businesses are also encouraged to attend to learn about potential contracting, procurement and supplier opportunities connected with the projects.
