Join us on September 10 at 10 am for Donut Time, where children can decorate their own delicious donuts and enjoy a sweet activity with friends.

A special thank you to Tim Hortons for opening their doors to our EarlyON families and helping us create this wonderful experience. Community partners like Tim Hortons help make moments like these possible, and we're incredibly grateful for their generosity.

🍂 Welcome September! 🍂

September is here, and while our centre will be closed to the public for portions of the month as we complete renovations, we have packed the calendar with exciting opportunities for families to connect, explore, and learn together throughout the community! We can't wait to kick off a new season filled with fun, friendship, and special events.

🍁 A few highlights this month:
📚 Library Visit on September 8.
🔎 FASD Awareness Day at Kiwanis Park on September 9. Wear red and join us for this important community event.
🚒 Fire Department Visit on September 11.
🥣 Community Kitchen on September 17.
🚶 Sheriff's Creek Walk on September 22 to celebrate the first day of autumn.
🎨 Children's Art Exhibit on September 26. Join us as we proudly showcase the creativity and imagination of our little artists right here at the centre!

🤸 Gym nights are back! 🏀 Our very first Gym Night begins September 24!
Join us Thursday evenings from 5:45 to 6:45 PM at l'École Villa Française des Jeunes for active family fun.

🎉 Saturday Programs Return! Starting September 19, we will once again be open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. We are excited to welcome families back for weekend fun.

💛 Although renovations mean some changes to our regular schedule, we are looking forward to exploring our community with park visits, walks, special events, and plenty of opportunities to connect with other families and see the secret gems our little city has to offer.

Dolly Parton’s contribution to children’s literacy has been truly extraordinary. Through her Imagination Library, she helped bring the joy of books into the hands and homes of millions of children, nurturing curiosity, connection, and a lifelong love of reading.

It is so sad to imagine a world without her bright spirit, generosity, and voice. But the beautiful legacy she created will continue: books arriving for children, families reading together, and new little readers discovering stories because Dolly believed they deserved that opportunity.

Her kindness will carry on page by page, child by child.
