The final Trip of the Month 2025 draw was completed today.

The first prize, a trip to Disneyland, was won by Melinda Heathcote of Elk Point. (Video unavailable.) If that sounds familiar, Melinda also held the winning ticket for the Disneyland trip in 2018! Luck does strike twice!

The second prize draw is featured in the video, with Lion Suzi narrating and ATB customer Nathaniel pulling Amy Wygle's ticket.

The TOTM 2025 raffle has concluded. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported the Community Lions of Elk Point.
Proceeds from the raffle support Santas Anonymous and organizations that help families in the Elk Point area.

The TOTM raffle is held every two years. Promotions for TOTM 2027 tickets will begin in fall 2026. For further information, DM this page, or email [email protected]

On December 2, shop at Elk Point Cornerstone Co-op, make a donation, then drop the puck on the PLINKO board to see what percent of your donation will be matched by the Co-Op.

With soft snow around us, what else comes to mind but skiing! So it's only logical that our Trip of the Month prize for November would be to Whistler, BC. But if he prefers, Kenji Tatebe of St. Paul could spend a lovely summer weekend hiking in the year-round resort.

Second prize winner, Iden Johnson of Cold Lake, has an extra $100 for Christmas presents. Speaking of second, this is Iden's second win in the TOTM 2025 raffle.

Every ticket is put back into the draw, so every ticket could be drawn more than once.

Next month will be the last draw for TOTM 2025. The Community Lions run the raffle every second year. Watch for ticket sales in late 2026.

Most of the proceeds support the Elk Point Santas Anonymous program, which provides toys and food to families in need at Christmas time. If you are aware of anyone in need, please contact St. Paul Regional FCSS & Family Resource Network, Elk Point office at 780 724 3800 by December 10, 2025 to add them to the list.

Santas Anonymous is getting excited about the Teddy Bear Toss at the U18 Avalanche hockey game tomorrow evening. What a great way to share!

Cheer on the U18 Avalanche, toss a teddy, and share community! The Teddy Bear Toss done a few years ago was a huge success that ensured all of Santa's kids received a stuffed animal for Christmas.

Enjoy Extravaganza this Friday, November 28th. And while you're at Cornerstone Co-op pick up a couple of grocery items to help stuff the RCMP cruiser. Eastern Alberta Regional Victim Serving Society members will be accepting donations to divide among food charities in the Elk Point detachment. Santas Anonymous is one of the charities.
