God's Closet - Blythewood God’s Closet is a non- profit community service ministry. We collect and distribute new and gently used children's clothes, shoes and bedding.

God's Closet is a ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that focuses on serving the community by collecting and distributing new and gently used children's clothing, shoes, and bedding. It operates Shop Day Events where families can shop for clothing at no cost, except for a $1 admission fee (per family, not per person). The ministry aims to provide clothing for children of all ages. God's

Closet engages with local communities, helping families in need and fostering relationships. It is a practical ministry that empowers us to reach out to our neighborhoods and meet community needs. We feel blessed to be a support and to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

🌅✨ HE IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED! ✝️🙌

Glory to God — we serve a RISEN Savior! 💛
Jesus conquered death, the grave could not hold Him, and today we rejoice in His victory! 🙏✨

Because of His great love, He made a way…
A road of grace so that we could receive forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life. 💖

👑 “He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.”

Matthew 28:6 (NKJV)

We give Him all the glory for His power over death!
We praise His holy name for the sacrifice He made and the victory He secured! 🙌🔥

And this is not the end…
He is coming back again! 🌤️👑

✨ He Gave His Life… and Even in Death, He Rested ✨

On what we know as Preparation Day (Friday), our Savior Jesus Christ gave His life for us on the cross. A sacrifice of pure love… thank You, Jesus. 🙏❤️

As the sun set and the Sabbath (Saturday) began, Jesus was laid to rest. Even in death, He honored the sacred rhythm established from the beginning — a day set apart, holy, and blessed by God. 🌅✨

📖 “And that day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew on.” — Luke 23:54
📖 “And they rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment.” — Luke 23:56

The Sabbath is a gift — a holy invitation to pause, to trust, and to draw closer to Him. Just as Christ rested, He calls us to follow His example. 🕊️💛

And then… 🌅
On the FIRST day of the week, the tomb was empty!
✨ He is risen! ✨

💛 At God’s Closet, everything we do flows from His love — and we honor Him by remembering His sacrifice and keeping His holy Sabbath.

Let us remember, reflect, and rejoice in Him. 💖

✝️ Good Friday - A Love Like No Other ✝️

Today we pause and reflect on the greatest act of love this world has ever known. ❤️

Jesus, though innocent, chose the cross.
He endured suffering, rejection, and pain… all for us.
Even while we were still sinners, He gave His life so that we could have hope, forgiveness, and eternal life. 🙏

💛 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:8 (NKJV)

On this day, just before the Sabbath, our Savior gave everything.

📖 “That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near.”

Luke 23:54 (NKJV)

After the cross, He rested in the tomb on the Sabbath (which was Saturday)…
but His love was already at work, securing victory for us all. ✨

What an amazing God we serve -
a God who loves deeply, sacrifices willingly, and never gives up on us. 💖

Today, may we reflect, give thanks, and remember:
We are loved beyond measure. 🙌
