Kinette Club of Edson The Kinette Club of Edson is a local non-profit group that helps gives back to the local community on

The Edson Kinettes work on many projects throughout the year. The Annual Toy Run (this kick starts our collections and awareness of our Christmas Hamper Project) in August We collect, organize and distribute Christmas food and Toy Hampers to families in December. We donate annually to all the schools to help provide snacks to the students (we call this our Mother Hubbard Program). We also donate to local charities and organizations; McMan, SCOPE, Yellowhead Emergency Shelter, Victim Services, car seats to the Women, Infant & Nutrition Program (WIN). We also make annual donations to STARS and Cystic Fibroses (Kin Canada’s main charity). We also provide 1 graduation student $1000 scholarship towards their future education through our Parker Martin Memorial Scholarship. Organizations within our community are invited to submit requests for donations for events or activities they are hosting that benefit the community. We support as many community events as possible and volunteer as much as we can.
